10 Items I use on Twitch 2018

Yes some of these items I have and some of these items I wish I had. I very clearly specify which is which and how I feel about each product. Each of these images are clickable and should bring you straight to amazon where there is more description and customer reviews. This is just a post of things I use or want to use in my daily live streams @ www.twitch.tv/krystinakipp .

1. Computer - The computer that i have is about 5-6 years old. it's called an HP Envy. Back in the day, the best buy person it was the best one for what i was looking for in a PC at the time of buying it. I believe him to this day! My computer is a little over half a decade old and is still keeping up with gaming standards. But i do think at the time I had geek squad upgrade my graphics card and my RAM.

[couldn't find a link to it on amazon]

2. Webcam - I actually have two. one is just slightly better then the other but they are both Logitech webcams. The First one has a much more flexible swivel base so you can get good angles of your face, and adjust accordingly with light changes through out the day. Where as the second one i use to live stream my bird. LOL. They both have about the same quality. I just prefer using the first one because it is more convenient.

3. Monitor - Look, when you are just starting you don't need spacial curved / extra wide screens or whatever. I ended up going to Walmart and just picking up the cheapest of cheap. It was actually awesome. Its tiny but it does the trick!

4. Microphone - The microphone that I use is a blue yeti. Everyone told me, its the best of the best if you are just starting out. "It's the cats ass". Brought it home and oh-my-god...... i really should have recorded my reactions to it using it and testing it for the first time. I had honestly never spoken into a microphone so crisp. This is the microphone to go with if you are going any sort of podcast or live stream. And it looks so darn fancy. I feel like a million bucks when I use it. I really don't know what more to say about it other then its great....... I just found out when i was looking for the image to post here that it is Ranked #7 on amazon sales ranks.

5. Headphones - I go through headphones like they are hot cakes. So i keep a couple laying around. I do not go out of my way, researching which is the best headphones out there because me being as clumsy as i am will for sure destroy them. So the first image is a pair of marley's that are actually Aarons (If you watch my stream you'd know who that is haha) And the second pair I have is my pair (image two), they are sony's and i do find that they are much comfortable and better sound quality although the Bluetooth and the drivers on my computer were slightly messed up so i had a hard time connecting the Sony's. In all they are both pretty good and do the job.

6. Mouse - Currently I am using an Acer mouse (first image) that i am pretty sure came with my acer keyboard. its super cheap. It has no weight to it but its gotten me this far you know? the right click spot has a bare spot from me doing so much clicking with it. It is quite a trooper but I am ready for something new. When the funds come in I plan on putting a little bit of money aside to buy this one (second image) Logitech pro gaming mouse. It has adjustable weights and feels so smooth. The clicking noise it makes is slightly quieter then the one I currently have. This is important when you have a crazy good microphone that can pretty much pick up any noise in the house.

7. Keyboard - Right now I am borrowing a keyboard from Aaron, because my keyboard's cored of ripped out when i got up to go get lasagna.... what a tragic story. It's ok! It was from that Acer keyboard and mouse pack, it was quite cheap but decent for the time that I used it. The one I am using right now is a Razer Ornata Chroma. It is super fancy, has mechanical keys. (Which is good for gaming and typing really fast, but is not good when you have a good microphone). I really like it and its response time but i am going to need to get my own soon and give Aaron his keyboard back.

8. Ram - In any desktop computer you buy now-a-days its typical to have already installed 8-16 GB of  RAM. Back when I bought my computer I had to buy extra RAM and have them install it at geek squad because I was super not tech savvy at the time. I really dont remember what they put in my computer so I would feel bad linking you to some random RAM ... lol I dont know why that all sounds funny to me.

9. Capture Card - I do not currently own one but I do plan on getting the Elgato Game capture card. I have heard really great reviews about it and have also talked to countless store reps in different stores about how they felt about this product. Everyone pretty much agrees that it is the best, it has no delay like some game capture cards have and so on. But this one is not compatible with Nintendo 64. so I was researching ones that might work for that console and other older consoles with the three cords (red, yellow, white cord thingys) and i came across this one. Although I have heard half and half reviews on it. I will be buying it and giving a full  review on my experience with it on another blog post so be sure to hit my google plus follow button to stay tuned for that.

10. Gaming Chair - My dream chair that doesn't exist yet. I currently do not own a gaming char but hopfully with my first Twitch pay check I'll be able to buy one. This one in particular is the one I have in mind. I have back issues, and it just so happens that in my car, my drivers seat has a back support similar to this. I really think that this sort of a design will be good for lessening the pain in my back and.... you guys.... Look! Its pink!!

Bonus: A good internet connection. I was blessed to have fiber high speed internet.

A Domain Name?

I have been told time and time again by YouTubers that claim to be successful in having incredible success from blogging and affiliate programs.  Video:  Why Domain Names Are Important I've watched probably over 100 youtube videos so far stating that having a domain name is extremely important in having your own online business. And I totally agree, something like having a website dedicated to my brand with a proper, easy to remember name will get people coming back more often than a forgettable 100 character long https://. Take this for example: www.catsrule.com www.catsrule.blogger.blogspot.blahblahblahblah./cats/rules Which one are you more likely going to remember and visit or re-visit one day? For real, it really makes a difference! The website that I recommend is Interserver. This web hosting site has been around for 16 years. That's crazy enough that they have been ongoing since 1999. Throughout the 16 years, they have continued to advance through their

My Twitch Microphone

I am a super noob when it comes to pretty much everything. So I ask people about their opinions on things, when I was asking around what microphone I should get, there was a unanimous vote for this particular one. The specific brand of microphone that I use is called "Blue Yeti". It is professional quality with its four pattern options: Stereo - is good for singing, ensemble choir, and instruments. Cardioid - is good for podcasts, voice overs, vocals, and instruments. Omnidirectional - is good for conference calls, field recordings, and events. Bidirectional - is good for interviews, instruments, and vocal duets. Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Blackout Edition The two that I prefer for streaming is cardiod for when I am streaming alone and bidirectional for when Aaron is in the room and he is sitting across from me. This makes it easier for my viewers on  Twitch to hear only me and/or Aaron with less obstructing noises. Another great feature is the mute button. I
