I am a super noob when it comes to pretty much everything. So I ask people about their opinions on things, when I was asking around what microphone I should get, there was a unanimous vote for this particular one. The specific brand of microphone that I use is called "Blue Yeti". It is professional quality with its four pattern options: Stereo - is good for singing, ensemble choir, and instruments. Cardioid - is good for podcasts, voice overs, vocals, and instruments. Omnidirectional - is good for conference calls, field recordings, and events. Bidirectional - is good for interviews, instruments, and vocal duets. Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Blackout Edition The two that I prefer for streaming is cardiod for when I am streaming alone and bidirectional for when Aaron is in the room and he is sitting across from me.
