My Twitch Microphone

I am a super noob when it comes to pretty much everything. So I ask people about their opinions on things, when I was asking around what microphone I should get, there was a unanimous vote for this particular one. The specific brand of microphone that I use is called "Blue Yeti". It is professional quality with its four pattern options:

Stereo - is good for singing, ensemble choir, and instruments.
Cardioid - is good for podcasts, voice overs, vocals, and instruments.
Omnidirectional - is good for conference calls, field recordings, and events.
Bidirectional - is good for interviews, instruments, and vocal duets.

Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Blackout Edition
The two that I prefer for streaming is cardiod for when I am streaming alone and bidirectional for when Aaron is in the room and he is sitting across from me. This makes it easier for my viewers on Twitch to hear only me and/or Aaron with less obstructing noises.

Another great feature is the mute button. Its definitely better then just having a webcam mic because I am able to turn off my sound in put if I have to get up for any reason. I honestly have gotten up and said something embarrassing or whatever because I thought I had muted my mic from my computer on OBS. Now I don't have that problem. My Blue Yeti mic has a button on it that flashes when the mic itself is muted. I haven't made any mistakes since I made this purchase.

The only two other things I haven't talked about yet are the Volume and gain nobs. The gain nob is in charge of how much sound is let into the mic and of course the volume is how much sound comes out of the mic into your headphones. . They are self explanatory and convenient to say the least.
In all it was a good purchase and great addition to my stream set up. The quality and professional feel to the mic is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mic.

Second Monitor for Twitch

When I started on Twitch I was using a TV screen which was great for gaming. But what wasn't great, I was very distracted by the game and wasn't reading chat as much as I should have. It was incredibly hard to stay focused on the game while keeping up with conversation. What changed everything for me was actually just getting a second monitor.  People offered me advice with downloading bots to make a noise any time someone said anything in chat, but that would pick up on my stream and it would get annoying for people just watching the show. I took a chance by just bitting the bullet in buying a second screen and it was the best thing I could have done.  I decided on getting a pretty cheap Acer monitor and it was worth every penny. I started noticing chat a lot more because I placed the screen extra close to me and angled in a way that I couldn't help but notice if the chatroom was moving. Unfortunately, I had to switch up my set-up so now my tv screen is in another roo

A Domain Name?

I have been told time and time again by YouTubers that claim to be successful in having incredible success from blogging and affiliate programs.  Video:  Why Domain Names Are Important I've watched probably over 100 youtube videos so far stating that having a domain name is extremely important in having your own online business. And I totally agree, something like having a website dedicated to my brand with a proper, easy to remember name will get people coming back more often than a forgettable 100 character long https://. Take this for example: www.catsrule.com www.catsrule.blogger.blogspot.blahblahblahblah./cats/rules Which one are you more likely going to remember and visit or re-visit one day? For real, it really makes a difference! The website that I recommend is Interserver. This web hosting site has been around for 16 years. That's crazy enough that they have been ongoing since 1999. Throughout the 16 years, they have continued to advance through their

My computer is a little over half a decade old and is still keeping up with gaming standards. But i do think at the time I had geek squad upgrade my graphics card and my RAM.
